Current information about Corona / COVID-19
Dear camping friends, dear guests, dear permanent campers,
we are looking forward to the camping season 2021.
According to current legal requirements, we cannot reopen for tourist overnight stays until May 21, 2021 at the earliest - depending on the development of the regional incidence. However, this must be below 100 for at least 5 days in a row so that we can then open the day after the next. The exact incidence value for the district of Roth can be found here: https://www.landratsamt-roth.de/corona-zahlen?sub=corona-infos.
If this is the case, the following requirements must be observed:
- A prerequisite for a stay with us is a negative current corona test (PCR test no more than 48 hours old, POC antigen test no more than 24 hours old) of the guests upon arrival. A quick test under supervision is unfortunately NOT possible with us, as we do not have the capacity for supervision.
- a new negative test must then be presented every 48 hours. A quick test under supervision is unfortunately NOT possible with us, as we do not have the capacity for supervision.
- Fully vaccinated and recovered persons as well as children up to the 6th birthday are exempt from testing obligations according to the generally applicable principles.
PCR test centers and rapid test offers can be found at: www.landratsamt-roth.de/coronatest-termin
The usual hygiene regulations must also be observed on site.
Obligation to test and hygiene regulations are also likely to be mandatory for our long-term campers.
We are happy to take reservations by email or contact form.
Please understand that we can only be reached to a very limited extent by phone and that processing inquiries takes some time due to the high demand.
The reception is currently open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Your team from Camping Waldsee
Welcome to Camping Waldsee –
the comfortable nature oasis in the Franconian lakeland countryside
In the middle of the Franconian lakeland countryside, between the lakes Brombachsee and Rothsee, in the metropolitan area of Nuremberg, the comfortable and well-equipped Camping Waldsee stretches itself along the picturesque banks of a swimming lake on the edge of a large forest.
Whether you will come with your own camper van, caravan or tent or you prefer one of our log cabins, mobile homes or holiday flat, our campside will make your stay to recreative leave days, also in winter.
The extensive network of hiking and biking trails, around 400 km, which are located in the area, as well as the proximity to the cities of Nuremberg and Roth, allow for enjoyable day trips to a variety of destinations.
You can ride to Nuremberg by train. There is a park & ride possibility on the railwaystation in Roth or we can offer a taxi which takes you from Wallesau (1 km away from our campsite) to Roth.
During the school holidays, we offer childcare with diverse programs for older and younger guests.
